What this service is

VentGuard Home Services is a trade name of [LLC NAME PENDING], LLC. We operate a referral service: we take your request and introduce you to independent contractors who perform the work.

We are not a contractor. We do not perform, supervise, schedule or guarantee any work in your home. We hold no contractor licence and we make no representation that we do. Any agreement for work is between you and the contractor directly.

What we are responsible for

Passing your request accurately to a contractor who serves your area, and removing contractors from our network when we learn they have treated a homeowner badly.

What we are not responsible for

The quality, timing, safety or price of the work; the contractor's licensing, insurance or conduct; damage to your property; or any dispute between you and the contractor. Those are matters between you and the business you hire.

We recommend confirming a contractor's licence and insurance directly with them and with your state's licensing board before work begins. Requirements differ by state and by trade.

Pricing

Any price is set and quoted by the contractor, not by us. We do not set prices, take payment for work, or hold funds. Prices mentioned anywhere on this site are illustrative of what the market charges and are not an offer.

Your responsibilities

Give accurate information, and only submit a phone number you are authorised to provide. Do not submit someone else's details without their permission.

How we are paid

Contractors pay us for introductions. You pay us nothing. This means we have a commercial interest in you contacting a contractor, and we would rather you knew that.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to this service is limited to one hundred United States dollars. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of TX, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
